lives
Shred the Stigma (SHRED) was built from scratch by a dedicated team of humans who wanted people who use drugs to be able to do so safely. Their mission was clear: to ensure harm reduction and education were accessible throughout Oklahoma City, ultimately saving lives. Initially, they began their journey with a homemade logo, operating under the name “Out of Harms Way OKC.” However, when they attempted to register their nonprofit, they hit a roadblock – the name was already taken. In a race against time, they found a new identity with the name Shred. That’s where I came in.
Drag
Drawing on elements from their previous logo, I set out to create a brand identity that is not only effective but enduring. My goal was to ensure that Shred’s brand would stand the test of time, continuing to make a positive impact for years to come. I crafted a range of logo variations, all maintaining a consistent visual identity yet tailored to different brand touch points.
In addition to the logo, I introduced a fresh color palette, icons, texture, and typography – all exuding boldness, with the clear visual message: “Drug users have a right to care, and we’re here to deliver it!”
