Currently, Skye works as the Digital Communications Coordinator at Edina Public Schools, developing in-house, strategic communications efforts to support the district. She also offers freelance web design and creative services in the Minneapolis metro area.
Hi, I'm Skye.
Before transitioning to the in-house work, I served as a Graphic Designer at Back40 Design. There, I was responsible for the ideation and execution of branding, web design, print and digital design, and marketing campaigns for small and large businesses.
I have also had the pleasure of playing a key role in developing the brand identities and strategies of several nonprofit organizations, such as Circle of Care, a foster care and prevention resources agency, and Shred The Stigma, a needle exchange and harm reduction organization serving Oklahoma City. I am passionate about creating lasting impact in communities that have historically been underserved.
I received formal education at the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. There, I earned a Bachelor’s in Journalism, with a focus in Advertising.
