Skye Shrader is an established, passionate creative, with over seven years of experience in web design, advertising, art direction, strategic marketing and social media. Put simply, Skye has dedicated their career to bringing brands to life through content that not only looks nice, but creates loyal customers and increases conversions.
Currently, Skye works as the Marketing and Communications Specialist at The Lift Garage, developing in-house, strategic marketing efforts to support the nonprofit. She also offers freelance web design and creative services in the Minneapolis metro area.
Hi, I'm Skye.
Before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, I served as a Graphic Designer at Back40 Design. There, I was responsible for the ideation and execution of branding, web design, print and digital design, and marketing campaigns for small and large businesses.
I have also had the pleasure of playing a key role in developing the brand identities and strategies of several nonprofit organizations, such as Circle of Care, a foster care and prevention resources agency, and Shred The Stigma, a needle exchange and harm reduction organization serving Oklahoma City. I am passionate about creating lasting impact in communities that have historically been underserved.
I received formal education through the nation’s 2nd ranked program at the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication. There, I earned a Bachelor’s in Journalism, with a focus in Advertising.
